Bringing in a new Decade

2010, wow.  I thought the 90′s sounded like so long ago, now someone says “Back in 2000″ and I think “Damn that was a long time ago…” or at least it feels that way.

2000: I was half way through my freshman year in high school/started by sophomore year

2001: half-way through soph. year/started junior year, 9/11

2002: half way through jr. year/started senior year

2003: finished sr year, moved to TN, mom remarried, started college

2004: some more college, some life lessons

2005: a little bit of college, some major life lessons

2006: joined the Army, moved to Washington State

2007: Deployed to Iraq

2008: Returned from Iraq, got married

2009: Made it through 1 year of marriage happily and succesfully, redeployed to Iraq

2010: Who knows what the heck is in store for me and my family?
I look forward to this next decade, I look forward to spending it with my wife, continuing my Army career, and just generally being a bad ass.
